Soul Calibur V

I have recently bought Soul Calibur V in hopes that it would be better than Soul Calibur III, IV and Legends. Just like any other consumer or fan of the series, I did not think it would be as great or as better than Soul Calibur II. I have always found Soul Calibur II to be entertaining and fun to play. I even went as far as buying all three versions. That's how crazy I' am.

When I got my hands on Soul Calibur V, I was very excited to see what content they have to offer in this game. Sadly, the game didn't offer that much and I feel the game hasn't been fully developed. The lack of gameplay on the movelist, characters (Patroklos to Alpha Patroklos and Pyrrha to Pyrrha Omega are the same characters, no Talim, no Setsuka, no Zasalamel, no Yun-Seong, and no Seong Mi-Na, Kilik used all male weapons and Sophitia used all female weapons), content (such as no gallery mode, theatre mode, and team battle mode) and replay value (is very limited for $60) means that they didn't put much effort in the game but yet, like Capcom, they would charge consumers or fans of the series the full price of this incomplete game.

It would seem that Namco takes notes from Capcom because to Capcom's logic: Incomplete Game equals Full Price which equals to DLC.

There are some positives about the game and that is the online, customized characters, and setting of the story. (the Renaissance)

In conclusion, I would recommend Soul Calibur V if it was used and the price would range to $10. Other than that, I only wish that Namco either charge the game much less if lack of content was the selling point or just put some effort and take their time with it.
